Ådnevik Nature Reserve

Today I visited the wonderful Ådnevik Nature Reserve east of Kristiansand in Norway. How fun is it to meet an old friend close to the area who joined the tour and helped me to collect spiders :-D The reserve is important because it contains a certain amount of European Yew (Taxacus baccata) and European Holly (Ilex aquifolium) in Norway.

I only see birches in the picture though.
But I do envy the wide forests you guys have, over there.
I guesss, I better seek comfort in some more beers, here in the concrete jungle.

Well, there are loads of Birches there too, especially along the southern border of the reserve, but you might spot the first green Holly just behind us
And why did you mention beer
Any news from the concrete jungle then?

I admit, I only saw the birches.
Strange that no one commented on such strange behaviour
