These are times of constant media coverage on the issue of global warming and general fouling of the environment. It's scary to think of what we're doing to the world we live in and even scarier to think that with increasing levels of prosperity in the so called 'Third World' the conflict between man and animal is going to intensify, not to mention increasing pollution and the battle for control of resources like drinking water.

Nothing however hits as hard as hearing the word 'extinct'. Gone. Lost forever. Must be a horrible feeling to be the last one of your kind.

On to the more mundane issue of my daily life, boredom has it's claws in nice and firm. Good thing I've just discovered 'How I Met Your Mother'. Haven't watched a sit-com in a long time.

Time for some excitement. On Monday I head out in an effort to buy a driver's license. Pity about not knowing how to drive though....
