Security spending after 9/11 tops $92B
An additional $92 billion has been spent on national security in Canada in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, according to a report to be released Wednesday.
The study by the Ottawa-based Rideau Institute tracked the budgets for what it calls the "new national security establishment," that it says was built in response to the terrorist attacks a decade ago and includes the departments of National Defence, Foreign Affairs, Public Safety, Justice, the RCMP, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, and the Canada Border Services Agency.
The study found that since 2000-01, Canada has dedicated $92 billion more to national security spending than it would have if budgets had remained in line with spending levels before the attacks in 2001, $69 billion when adjusted for inflation.
MORE >>> Meaning that in total, Canada has spend $161,000,000,000.00 since the bogus 9/11 attacks. When you consider that the total population of Canada is 34,000,000 (man, woman and child) that means that $4.735.00 of National Debt was added to each living Canadian.

Harper says 'Islamicism' biggest threat to Canada ..............
Stephen Harper on Islamic radicals
In an exclusive interview with CBC News, Prime Minister Stephen Harper says the biggest security threat to Canada a decade after 9/11 is Islamic terrorism.
In a wide-ranging interview with CBC chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge that will air in its entirety on The National Thursday night, Harper says Canada is safer than it was on Sept. 11, 2001, when al-Qaeda attacked the U.S., but that "the major threat is still Islamicism."
>>>>Harper said his government will bring back anti-terrorism clauses that were brought in in 2001 but were sunset in 2007 amid heated political debate.
There were two clauses at the heart of the debate:
One allowed police to arrest suspects without a warrant and detain them for three days without charges if police believed a terrorist act may have been committed.
The other allowed a judge to compel a witness to testify in secret about past associations or perhaps pending acts under penalty of going to jail if the witness didn't comply.

2011 April 14 4:18 am Dream.
I was watching a discussion on TV where someone had put together a documentary outlining the US political and military agenda that was going to be aired on National TV. They were playing the film that began with George H. Bush and the war on Iraq, where he was being interviewed about a US fighter pilot that had been shot down by enemy fire and how the US was determined to not only rescue the pilot, but to also recover the plane and not let it fall into enemy hands. When the president was asked if the jet fighter was carrying any secret military weapons, Bush said that it carried only conventional military weapons, but then in a later interview, he let it slip that it was also armed with a nuclear bomb, capable of inflicting massive damage and that he didn’t want that falling into the wrong hands.

He was then grilled by reporters about the US military and the use of nuclear weapons and he then stated to the effect that while the US had the capability and resolve to use nuclear weapons, it was developing more “peaceful” ways to deter the enemy and to
control their military and civilian population. That news created a buzz in the room and reporters wanted to know more. He said with a smile, “We are developing the ability to not only control the weather and other forces of nature to disrupt the enemies physical ability to wage war on us, but we are also developing the technology to c
ontrol their mental desire to do so by
electronic means aimed at sedating the population so that any aggressive behavior is nullified and peaceful and acceptable behavior is restored.”

Again the reporters wanted to know more, and it was at this point that the interview switched to a later time with now George W. Bush as president. He seemed to carry on with his father’s words and stated that most of the enemy’s military and civilian population would be behavior modified without physical harm, to where they would function at a level that would enable them to perform most of their daily activities, without the awareness that they were being controlled, and, without the aggressive nature and thoughts they had before. It would be a new way of
waging war without the bloodshed and loss of any US military men or women in service to their country, and a way of waging war that would be for the good of all concerned and humanity.

At that point, the interview was then terminated and I woke up. I thought about the ramifications of those statements, before I wrote it in my journal. While the documentary began in the early 1990’s, that technology is very much a reality today. I was thinking of my previous

Canadian general taking over command of NATO's no-fly mission in Libya Bouchard, a native of Chicoutimi, Que., has been designated by NATO as head of the alliance's campaign in Libya. He will work with "his naval and air component commands" to enforce the no-fly zone and the so-called civilian-protection mission in Libya, a senior White House official said Friday.
Bouchard, a lieutenant-general whose rank is equivalent to a three-star U.S. general, is currently stationed in Naples, Italy, at the Allied Joint Force Command.
His appointment did not come without considerable debate among the allies. "There were a lot of egos involved," a Canadian government source said.

While being a sheep of the US foreign policy is one thing, taking the appearance of the lead in the UN /NATO role in Libya is a dangerous maneuver for Canada. I say appearance as that is all it will be as the US will still be pulling the strings, despite what is being said.
While there has been a definite distinction abroad ,between a Canadian and a US tourist, that distinction now will fade, which will mean that Canadians will now be viewed as being in bed with the USA and their political agenda, and as such, will be treated the same. Any backlash that would have been directed at the USA will now also be directed at Canada and Canadians.
And so the plot thickens.

strikes, Libya, rebels, three
...
2011 March 21 The US has struck yet another power play with its military strike on Libya. The original political rhetoric(in the name of democracy and freedom) was for the UN to impose a no fly zone over Libya to prevent Muammar Gaddafi from using Libya’s air forces to suppress so-called rebels that were calling for a end to his regime.

This initial action was also sanctioned by neighboring Arab countries, but when the mandate was changed and the US launched cruse and tomahawk missiles at night against Libyan air fields, radar installations as well as targeting ground forces, the whole situation changed. Not only are the Arab states apprehensive, but also the coalition forces, not to mention the US public not wanting to get into yet another war. Of course the political leaders of the coalition forces that followed the US political and military lead, defend their actions even as worldwide public skepticism grows.

I feel that Obama, and the powers to be pulling his strings, know that the US public doesn’t want to get dragged into another war. That’s why Obama publicly stated that the US will not send any ground troops into Libya and that the war will be waged by air, using fighters along with cruise and tomahawk missiles and other technology to enforce a no fly zone.

While on the surface this sounds okay, it marks a sharp turn in US military engagement policies from previous war efforts, and one that signals an ominous sign of things to come, that being the escalation of a non-personal battle zone much like the futuristic movie, “The Terminator” where the battle will be between machine and man. With this action, Obama has swung the third strike and symbolically, signaled the end of an inning (an era)

and the beginning of a new one with a new team and batters coming to the plate, or ... was Bush Sr., invading Iraq and then George Bush with the 9/11 invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, the three strikes ending the inning (era), and Obama the new batter, with Libya being the first pitch of the new inning. It doesn’t really matter, what matters is that things have definitely begun to change and escalate.
Wait and see what Obama and the other world leaders do when the so-called Democracies begin to rebel against the present leadership in the same way the dictatorships are now being challenged. I bet they will also be using FORCE to control the so-called rebels that want to put an end to tyranny.

gladiators, battle, spectators, rage
...
Mar. 6 5:06 am I awoke thinking about sports and how the competition is a form of aggression, of being in control, being better or superior to another person or team. It’s like a battle, a civilized act of war but instead of killing your enemy, you defeat them in a contest and are declared the winner.
Competitive sports fans have the same denied blood lust as their athletes or team, as they live vicariously through them. Under it all is denied rage that disguises itself as being a harmless game and not hurting anyone like in a real battle or war. This denied rage is never satisfied as it always wants more, bigger, better faster, etc, and organized sports are becoming more and more aggressive and with that, the fans and spectators are also becoming more aggressive. It’s like Roman times and the gladiator contests, albeit in a different form.

So now the real truth is coming out as to why the USA invaded Afghanistan
It’s not about fighting any so-called 9/11 terrorists, it’s about playing war games..
So now the US is using a new weapon that will change the
“game”… to their advantage
Anyone that thinks war is a “game” ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
You can fill in the blanks..
I’m sure that we will now begin to see a whole new arsenal of secret weapons of mass destruction coming out by the US military/police to be used, not only on so-called enemies, but also on their own civilian population..

Committee Judge Insists Obama Had Done A Lot
In a rare public defense of a process normally shrouded in secrecy, four of the Nobel jury's five judges spoke out Tuesday about a selection they said was both merited and unanimous.
To those who say a Nobel is too much too soon in Obama's young presidency, "We simply disagree ... He got the prize for what he has done," committee chairman Thorbjorn Jagland told The Associated Press by telephone from Strasbourg, France, where he was attending meetings of the Council of Europe.

Jagland singled out Obama's efforts to heal the divide between the West and the
Muslim world and scale down a Bush-era proposal for an anti-missile shield in Europe......................
Even the most seasoned Nobel watchers were surprised by Obama's Nobel — they hadn't expected the U.S. president, who took office barely two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline, to be seriously considered until at least next year.
*************************************
Isn’t it ironic that since Obama has taken office, that the war in Iraq has been taken out of the news, while the coverage of the war in Afghanistan has escalated? But that is not mentioned in the above nomination report. That is not to say that there is now peace in Iraq and that things are now all nice and peaceful, it’s just that Iraq is not receiving the media coverage it once did to JUSTIFY the war to the American sheeple, and the world in general...
A war that was initially started by Bush against the taliban in Afghanistan, that were blamed for the so-called 9/11 attacks. Once a token war had been waged against the Taliban, focus quickly switched to Iraq, allowing America to begin to fulfill the hidden agenda by those players behind the scenes that are pulling the strings of the puppets in a visible position of power, including the media...

The Neoconservative Agenda to Sacrifice the Fifth Fleet –
The New Pearl Harbor... by Michael Salla [/B]
The U.S. plans for an attack on Iran envision to sacrifice the Fifth Fleet in order to justify a nuclear retaliation. This is not a hypothetical scenario, but a real option being discussed within the U.S. Joint Chief of Staff cabinet. According to our sources, admiral William Fallon made clear that if such an order was given, he would refuse to follow it and would hand in his resignation along with the entire Centcom headquarter’s. So far only the Navy and Army’s superior officers’ resistance has prevented the neoconservatives and the Air Force to launch the operations.
The Bush administation has covered up and ignored dissenting Pentagon war games analysis that suggests an attack on Iran’s nuclear or military facilities will lead directly to the annihilation of the Navy’s Fifth Fleet now stationed in the Persian Gulf. Lt. General Paul Van Riper led a hypothetical Persian Gulf state in the 2002 Millennium Challenge wargames that resulted in the destruction of the Fifth Fleet. His experience and conclusions regarding the vulnerability of the Fifth Fleet to an assymetrical military conflict and the implications for a war against Iran have been ignored. Neoconservatives within the Bush administration are currently aggressively promoting a range of military actions against Iran that will culminate in it attacking the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet with sophisticated cruise anti-ship missiles. They are ignoring Van Riper’s experiences in the Millennium Challenge and how it applies to the current nuclear conflict with Iran.
Iran has sufficient quantities of cruise missiles to destroy much or all of the Fifth Fleet which is within range of Iran’s mobile missile launchers strategically located along its mountainous terrain overlooking the Persian Gulf. The Bush administration is deliberately downplaying the vulnerability of the Fifth Fleet to Iran’s advanced missile technology which has been purchased from Russia and China since the late 1990’s. The most sophisticated of Iran’s cruise missiles are the ‘Sunburn’ and ‘Yakhonts’. These are missiles against which U.S. military experts conclude modern warships have no effective defense. By deliberately provoking an Iranian retaliation to U.S. military actions, the neoconservatives will knowingly sacrifice much or all of the Fifth Fleet. This will culminate in a new Pearl Harbor that will create the right political environment for total war against Iran, and expanded military actions in the Persian Gulf region.

There is a lot more to this article that you can read on their site if you so choose.
I also feel that if it's not this and some how related to Iran, then it will have something to do within the USA itself that will give Bush the authority to remain in power and continue his agenda. With the US economy as it is, something BIG needs to happen to keep the old "power" wheels turning.
