NorCal Fires Rage On

The smoke and ash in the air make the sky murky, eyes water and burn and the air is thick to breath. People are being evacuated all around. Still ok where I live, but still feeling the effects of the fire. There are still over 200 fires burning in the area where I live.

Yes it is a real tragedy. The air smells like a camp fire all the time only without the tents, fishing poles and party atmosphere.

Our firefighters are working so hard and are terribly undermanned.

Yikes. I remember when we had all the big fires here in so cal last summer. I hate fires.

Thanks bluebox I got a photo of the sun through the smoke during the afternoon yesterday. You can look right into the sun and it is orange gold from the smoke. I will add it to the orig post here.
