Come sail with me on the empty sea

I've been tagged again, this time by G-Off. Instead of 5 interesting facts about me, this time I have to post the 5th paragraph from page 123 of the book I am currently reading. I'm not actually reading a book at the moment (unless you count "A+ Certification for Dummies", but I'm not posting from that. Instead, I will post from one of my favourite books, The Iliad, by Homer.

So Sarpedon spoke, and Tlepolemos raised his ash spear: and both their long spears flew from their hands at the same moment. Sarpedon hit the middle of Tlepolemos' neck, and the cruel point passed right through, and black night covered over his eyes. Tlepolemos' long spear hit Sarpedon in the left thigh, and the point ran ravening through, driven on to touch the bone: but his father kept destruction from him for the time.

Now I have to tag 5 other people, so I choose:

It is very, very good. At some times it can be a bit tough going, but nobody tells a story like Homer.

I read the Odyssey by Homer, it was very long, and I even though it is widely acclaimed, I didn't enjoy it much. Until the ending, the ending was exiting. Anyway, what I'm saying is that I will never read the Iliad, too much commitment.
