Spelling Glee

I like to think that I'm a good speller. I studied English to a reasonable level, and enjoy writing. I wouldn't say that I'm a spelling "snob", but I certainly cringe at misspelled words (well... when I notice them anyway 
). I'm not saying that I'm perfect, and I do spell words incorrectly. With today's technology, however, to post a comment/blog post/emails with misspelled words is just lazy.
Which brings me to the point of my post. I have discovered one of the great feelings in life. Whenever I write a document and use the spell checker, it fills me with great pride when I haven't spelt any words incorrectly. Don't get me wrong - this doesn't happen that often. I often make typos, and there are some tricky words out there, but when I get the "Spelling check completed" message without having to replace any words, I do smile.
A bit sad really, but simple things.... Anyone else out there experience the same thing?
