Life's Little Annoyances #132 - Waking Up Singing Delilah

, ,

For the second day this week I have woken up and started singing Tom Jones' "Delilah". I have no idea why. It makes me wonder what crazy dreams I am actually having. Dreams about Tom Jones? Dreams about a dangerous temptress who wants to reveal the secret of my mighty strength to the Philistines? Dreams about Weetabix? Maybe it's my subconscious telling me to go ahead and download it onto my iPod. Who knows, but it's certainly an infectious tune that gets stuck in your head! Maybe by posting this, I'll make sure I'm not the only one suffering...

I saw the light on the night that I passed by her window
NA NA NA NAAAAAAAAAAA NA NA
I saw the flickering shadows of love on her blind
NA NA NA NAAAAAAAAAAA NA NA
Sheeeeeeeeeeeee was my woman!
DUM DUM DUM DUM
As she deceived me I watched and went out of my mind

To stop this from happening again, you must post a video of yourself doing the Carlton Dance. It's the only way.

And it'd be awesome.

Hmmm

I demand proof that this will resolve the problem, and not just make me look stupid :/

You're British. It's impossible to look stupid. People just laugh and say 'Oh, that's the British fellow again.'

:lol:Hi..
why...why ...why...:faint:

Dreams about Weetabix?...Dream/wheat overload..:D
Plus we call them weetbix, as apposed to the weet'A'bix...now this is a sure sign of wheat poisoning... worse still if you were saying, even, :yikes: dreaming 'web ix' thats totally grounds for a Tom Jones infiltration, infact verging on, well on nightmare.:irked:
..also over hear we all eat 8 to 10 of these bix a day and were're all completely nuts....but this gives symptoms more along the lines of, 'Its not unusual to be loved by anyone'.
...Carlton Dance it could be your only hope...
...best of luck buddy..

In the UK there used to be a Weetabix advert to the tune of Delilah :D

They'd replace lyrics with cereal related words like "When she saw the spoon in my hand, she laughed no more".

It was very funny, but I can't find it on t'Internet anywhere :/
