random ramblings

Yesterday was the feast of St. Francis Xavier. I got up early and went to church for mass because I was going for a picnic.
We went to one of our friends bungalow on the outskirts of the city near the beach. As soon as we reached there we were raising a toast. Most were drinking whisky but a few of us had white wine. I didn't quite like the taste of it. I'm sorry but I just can't cheat my taste buds, although I forced myself into drinking it.
We then went to a resort where we had fun in the swimming pool and on the slides. We tried to do some stunts where we stood in a row by the edge of the pool and each one would drop into the pool on their side without bending their knee but even after a couple of attempts I couldn't get it right and I kept dropping down on my bum.
We also tried to get a pic of all of up in the air jumping in the pool. We managed to get that right after 4-5 attempts.
We enjoyed a lot on the slides. After a late lunch and a short nap we were back in the pool. Later in the evening we went back to the bungalow and played cricket in the driveway for some time. And then after a bath most of us were drinking again.
We played an game of passing the polo on tooth picks. And then we were singing and a playing guitar till late in the night. Then when I thought I would go to sleep my friends had other plans and put on music and we were dancing, luckily none of the neighbour complained about this, well actually there wasn't anyone on either side of the bungalow and those plots were vacant. I think some people lived across the road but they didn't mind.
Then at about 2 I had dinner and sneaked away to go to bed. Later in the morning I learnt that a couple of guys were awake till about 5 and had gone out at that time for a stroll.
I got up late in the morning and we played cricket for some time. I have to tell you though that I'm not a cricketer at all. I just couldn't hit the ball.
We then had some snacks and tea and then left to go home. I'm very tired but I really enjoyed myself.

I saw this video today on Vuclip where a some folks sang while placing an Order at Mc Donalds.

These guys sound really good. The tune is similar to the song I'm yours by Jason Mraz.
That was really interesting so I just searched for other videos by Random Acts and came across a couple of other songs that they were performing in public places like shopping malls, on an escalator, at a wedding. There is also a video where they do the chicken dance and another one where a guy plays the drums at a traffic intersection.
You've got to check these guys out.
