I've got it.

Yes! I've finally bought a Nokia N79.

I initially wanted the white handset but its not available anywhere. :frown: But this looks nice as well. I've been busy installing all my usual applications, hence this post was delayed.
Still need to check out features like GPS, WiFi, Fm transmitter etc.
I'm loving it so far.

Blog action day - Climate Change

Today is Blog Action Day and the topic for this year is Climate Change.
Now there are several blogs that have been discussing the effects of climate change. Something I would like to discuss here would be actions that we can take in our own small way to curb the effects of our actions on climate change.
Small actions that we can take to protect the nature and reduce the effect of human actions on the environment like taking public transport instead of a fuel thirsty vehicle or may be walking short distances or cycling instead or driving.
Also we need to reduce the waste generated by reusing and recycling articles.
If you too have any ideas to fight climate change, do post in the comments.

I Voted

I've cast my vote today for the State Assembly Elections.

They put a mark on my finger with some indelible ink. It cannot be erased but will just grow out with the nail.

I need a new phone

, , , ...

I've been using a Nokia N73 for just over a year now and its been a really good phone to use. I've been posting here solely via the phone, mostly uploading pics via email and using Opera Mini to update posts.
The phone developed some fault a couple of weeks back where the joystick would just keep scrolling down when it was just touched and it could not be stopped. I showed my phone to an expert who pressed the joystick and its has been working fine for now. He said that I've been using the phone excessively hence the joystick may have become loose. That really worried me, and I'm trying to be careful as I use the joystick.
Now I've been looking around for a replacement phone before this phone is seriously damaged.
I've been very pleased with the performance of this handset so I'll probably stick to a Nokia device. Also I use a lot of symbian apps so the new phone will need to have a symbian OS. I prefer a candybar shaped phone and I'm not too keen on using a touch screen device.
I've considered the available options and the phone I'm interested in is Nokia N79.

Its very similar to the N73, more like a upgraded version. With features like a 5mp camera, gps, wifi, faster processor, etc I'm really looking forward to get my hands on this phone soon.
