NORWAY RELOADED

As a most radical measure to increase the accessibility of information of any sort, I decided to include this neat little post. It has the purpose to keep everyone informed about ongoing changes on this blog. Well, not everyone really, but at least the one or two visitors this blog receives on a weekly basis - one of which probably ended up here while searching the web for free porn. I heard that's how [enter unpopular web address of personal preference here] gets 99% of the visitors by the way!

• Went to a fun concert of Fatty Sunroad for Under Dusken.

• My father, Kurt, just paid me a visit the last couple of days. He came to Trondheim from where we started our journey along the coast towards Ålesund to meet Emily and her parents. He spent some nice days there with us before he had to return to Salzburg today. I am still digging through the masses of photographs we took so it will be a while before I can show some of them here.
  
• The portrait of Per Borten I took for Under Dusken got picked as photo of the week on fotopia.no.
  
• Norway is experiencing some summer-like temperatures now with up to 18°C in the south and a nice 15°C in Ålesund and Trondheim.

• I finally got to try my brandnew softbox. First I tried some self portraits, which is really mainly because there was no other willing human being around and the cat got scarred of all the big equipment. Anyway, I am quite happy with how the shot turned out after editing in Lightroom!
  
• Then, I tried a classic three light setup: one flash through softbox overhead gelled orange and two flashes with do-it-yourself diffusers left and right and partly aimed at the wall to make it turn as white as possible. And this time I had someone whom I could shoot: Chris was okay with being photo-raped. Thanks Chris

• My family paid me a visit during the last week of January. We had a great time and it was really good seeing them all again. We made a trip to the beautiful island of Frøya and north the Trondheimfjord to Fosen. I tried shooting video for the first time and I took some pictures too. We also had some more pictures taken at the fjord in Trondheim. Oh yeah, and we had a lot of fish
  
• Shortly after that, the best girlfriend ever decided to surprise me by coming home from South America a week earlier than planned. Needless to say, I was VERY happy with that early birthday present! Tusen takk søtnos
  
• As always I had some new assignments for the student newspaper Under Dusken, so check it out if you feel like it.
