Landscapes-- of Convergence

A sabbatical (or a shorter retreat) means taking a period away from your normal routine - a time to immerse yourself in a different environment, to renew yourself, a chance to see your life from a different perspective. I recently finished my sabbatical leave—from my routine busy work life. Numerous people put in a lot of effort just to make my leave possible; especially family, colleagues who covered my work duties, friends who encouraged me, and administrators, who funded my time out the “computer lab”.
