Project Management

You know what's interesting? I have a project managment course. I never went to the course, because of work and all that, but tomorow i've got the exam and for it i had to compile a list of documents which included:
a. Requirements (functional)
b. PBS (product breakdown structure)
c. PFD (product flow diagram)
d. GANTT diagram (using Microsoft Excel)
e. Risk mitigation plan and risk contingency plan
f. Quality plan
g. Business case
Now if you look at that list, which one of those looks familiar? Requirements of course, maybe GANTT, maybe the Business case?Well to me everything except the first two I mentioned where a big unknow.
After some digging i found out that the course is about PRINCE2 and after some more digging i came to the conclusion that this prince2 is more suited for a corporate enviroment and yet here i was asked to compile a lot of "deliverables" for a project which will be open sourced and has just one developer.
As i was writting the risk mitigation plan, i was looking around for risks and it was hard to find the 3 of them. I mean the project is an educational one, i am the only developer, i'm doing it in my spare time, using the resources that are available to me for free.
So I am asking: Is PRINCE 2 an overkill for such a small project?
