One Good Day

, , ,

For a very long time i kept saying to myself

if i only had one good day of coding i could solve all my problems, fix all the bugs and create all the new features.

For a very long time this has only been a statement of mine which i kept repeting over and over in my head trying to trick myself into actually getting motivated enough to try it.

Since i'm famous procastinator, i managed to get myself into a a very tight spot. I basicly had like 24 hours to create a compleat and working application, don't get me wrong i had almost all the components needs for it, i just needed time to bring them togheter and make them talk to each other.

Since 24hours might not be enough, i decided to test out my theory and give myself "one good day". So i set up a little countdown widget for Vista(btw it's anoying how hard it is to find one) and gave myself 19hours and 43minutes

Low and behold i managed to finish all but one task on my to-do list and create an interesting application, so i guess it's true if you have the motivation then all you need is "one good day"

Now i have to admit that I've seen a lot as a web programmer but the pieces of code that I've seen in this project make me scream out and hit the person who wrote it. Therefor with out further introductions let's open the door of Stupidity and look at The Hall Of Fame.
