Business as Usual

,

Did you ever feel like you are bored out of your skull? I mean you know that you have a lot of work to do, but somehow there is no energy to actually do it, so what do you do? You procrastinate of course  and if you've read my post about procastination then you know that the best thing to do is to try to do something else while you are procrastinating that important work stuff.

That's exactly what I am doing, posting on my blog is something that I wanted to do for awhile so i took the opportunity to do so

A few days ago i asked you what you'd like to read here and you my dear readers answered in a small number  I'd like to thank those who did and those who didn't.

Since both of the comments told me that any post is good, i thing i will continue...and post about my life and the stories i come up with.
So thanks for your help  see you next time I'm procrastinating

Bank of No Sense of Humour

,

While I'm waiting for you my dear readers to answer my question, let me tell you a little story.

This morning i was at a bank to open my very first account. Up until now i always co-stared on my parents accounts which was okay, because i knew that it always had money so that was good. But I've been working for some time now so i decided it was time for me to get my own account.

Anyway so there i was in the bank office talking to some dude about opening up a savings account and a getting a debit card as well and after i signed a lot of papers the dude told me to go to the cashier to deposit the money and pay some tax for opening the account. So there i was with my money in one hand and with my ID in the other hand waiting in line. When it was my turn i payed the fee for opening the account and when it was time to make the deposit the dude asked me what sum i was depositing i told him

around xxxx

Then he gave me a strange look and harshly told me:

Around? What is the exact sum?

Then i realized i was in a bank and i was talking about money so no sense of humour required.

I really hopped i'd have enough time to post on my little blog. I'm posting using Opera 10 of course  with spell checking and all the nice M2 which i really love btw  Opera 10 works really great up until now, no bugs, no snags and definitely no crashes.

At this point in time i usually would start telling you about my life and what happened since i last posted, but i won't do that today. Instead i would like to ask you my dear readers what would you like to read about here...more about me and my boring life OR some nice little stories about Toj about dwarfs or some other fantasy creatures i can come up with.

What do you want to read?

Fuzzy Wazzy was a bear

, ,

Something i wrote on the long(7minutes) walk home from the office.

Fuzzy Wazzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wazzy didn't care
He walked around bare
He knew people would stare
Fuzzy Wazzy did not care

Once he lost his underware
People started to care
That he was there and bare
Fuzzy Wazzy did not care
Fuzzy Wazzy was a bear

Fuzzy Wazzy liked to dare
People to walk in underware
Cause naked people are rare
Fuzzy Wazzy did not care
His friends where all bare.

Do you mind if I exist?

Mindblogging

, , , ...

Blogging is an interesting activity, sometimes i find myself "writting" out complete posts in my head, or sometimes i find myself thinking about how i could tell what is currently happening around me in the form of a blog post.

Most of the times thought, those posts remain in my head, tagged with "mindblog", filled away. So next time you see me "mindblogging" give me a shove and tell me to stop it and either write a freakin' post or quite yapping about how i'm gonna write a post.

One Good Day

, , ,

For a very long time i kept saying to myself

if i only had one good day of coding i could solve all my problems, fix all the bugs and create all the new features.

For a very long time this has only been a statement of mine which i kept repeting over and over in my head trying to trick myself into actually getting motivated enough to try it.

Since i'm famous procastinator, i managed to get myself into a a very tight spot. I basicly had like 24 hours to create a compleat and working application, don't get me wrong i had almost all the components needs for it, i just needed time to bring them togheter and make them talk to each other.

Since 24hours might not be enough, i decided to test out my theory and give myself "one good day". So i set up a little countdown widget for Vista(btw it's anoying how hard it is to find one) and gave myself 19hours and 43minutes

Low and behold i managed to finish all but one task on my to-do list and create an interesting application, so i guess it's true if you have the motivation then all you need is "one good day"
