So........

Happy New Year

So, Happy New Year to everyone. Hope this year brings everyone happiness. Life hands us so many things but I hope we can all find happiness at the end of each experience. I know I sure learn from each of my experiences. Sometimes I'm not so quick but I know that Heavenly Father loves me & knows what I need. Sometimes it's hard to be patient & realize that I don't have control of everything. One thing I have learned...I can do better at the things I do have control over. I can do way better. So, I will but my best effort forward & realize that I'm not perfect but at least I am doing. I'm not trying, I am doing!! That's very important. Don't just try, do. Thanks to an old bf for teaching me that. This year will be great no matter what happens. Sometimes the path that I have in mind is not what Heavenly Father has in mind & I need to just go with it. Anyway......HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

By the way....we all had a blast at Blake's birthday party. We're grateful for friends & family that help to make it so fun. Pictures will be added as soon as I get my camera back. Seems I keep leaving it places that I shouldn't. Oh well.

Today is Blake's Birthday

So, today my little boy is 6. It's crazy how fast they grow up. Boy he sure has done a lot of stuff this year!!! It's kinda cool that his birthday is New Year's Eve....I get to reflect on this last year & remember all the stuff that Blake was involved in. He's definitely gotten a little taller this year. Hasn't gained much weight, but that's ok....he's just a skinny kid. He's a good boy & yes we have our moments but he sure tries hard to do what's right. Happy Birthday Blake......♥Mom, Dad & Sonny

Oh my Gosh!!! The Holidays have arrived!!!

So, life has been a little hectic & crazy. I have so many pictures to add to my photos. It'll take some time but I will do it. We had 3 Thanksgiving dinners!!! Soooo good!!! I love all the food. We got to visit with all of our parents except for my mom. That's pretty good for having 4 sets of parents. Kind of reminds me of that new movie coming out "4 Christmases". Our families are NOT like the one's shown in the movie but oh how I can relate with having 4 families plus our own to consider. Fortunately things usually work out really well. Anyway, I've got our tree up & most of our decorations. I wish I had more to make it feel more "Christmasy". Oh well, I'll work with what I've got. I always love going to people's houses where it looks like Christmas exploded!!! I love the holiday atmosphere. So, I'm trying really hard to conquer a clutterbug syndrome that I have. It's coming slowly but surely. It's actually helped taking things down & putting decorations up. Maybe I'll just keep things clear after the holidays. It actually makes me feel better not having so much. The bedroom really needs to be cleaned out. Whew. Wish me luck & if anybody has any tricks, PLEASE pass them my way. It would be much appreciated. So long for now.

What the Heck!!!

So, my hubby has been off with his friend this weekend & boy did I have plans for myself. I was going to go through ALL of the kids toys because the "Happy Holidays" are coming up & we already have too much stuff that doesn't get used. I am happy to say that I got the front room toys sorted. Most of the room came from little toys I ended up just throwing away. Never made it to either one of the boys rooms....but it is a work in progress. So I can't beat myself up too bad cuz at least the front room got done. Now, what to do with all the clutter & crap that belongs to me. Any suggestions??? I also finally just read "Midnight Sun". So I got 2 things done. I think that sometimes I expect way too much of myself. Need to get my laundry folded & put away & keep decluttering. So what do I do in my spare time while the children sleep & my hubby is away??? I stay up for hours looking at blogs!!! What else would I be doing. So this acturally brings something up. I was perusing over a blog & I won't mention the name cuz I don't want you to go there. Isn't it interesting how people think somethings are ok to do??? As a pretty devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I find it a litte unnerving that other members think that it's OK to pin & tuck. It seems that would be pinning & tucking their underclothing to fit into clothes that are revealing. If you want to stay in fashion that's all fine & dandy but show some respect for the promises that you made. There are FABULOUS companies out there that make clothes to help us be modest & fashionable at the same time. No, I'm not perfect but I do respect my promise that I made & the reason why I wear them. Too bad some people think it's ok to mock. Oh & you also shouldn't be pretending at church. If you don't want to be there, don't go! It's as simple as that. Oh, and please stand up for what you believe in!!! You can't have it this way or that way. The Lord does not change His rules for anyone!!! Just because you want to live a certain way doesn't meant that God's ok with it. YES, he loves all of his children, but he doesn't love all the choices that we make. That's why he provided His son Jesus Christ for us so that we could ask for forgiveness. Don't think you can go about this life doing & saying whatever the heck you want without being held accountable.
Anyways, how about that for a rant. Ok, I'm done now & I feel so much better.

Halloween Adventures

So, we had a ton of Halloween adventures this year. 3 different Harvest Festivals, going to the Nut Tree, going to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm & of course Halloween. Hope you enjoy the slide show & if you want more of a description of what we actually did, go to beltram921.blogspot.com to read the whole description.

Sonny's 2nd Birthday

Twilight Trailer

So, I just watched the Twilight trailer on myspacetv.com and...........ok it was good but boy did it just show way too much. We've all read the book & just by watching this trailer I wonder what's left to see. Of couse I will soo go to see it but I hate it when movie trailers give away too much. Let us experience it in the theater. Also, it's hard to watch movies after reading books sometimes cuz that's not what or how I imagined it to be. Still, I am looking forward to seeing the movie. It's a few days after my birthday so I will be going out with girlfriends to celebrate!!!!!!
Also, had my 1st rendez-vous tonight. Did pretty well. Hope I can get better with my timing & all that. All in all, it was good & I hope more people will come to learn about Demarle at HOme products.

Gabe's exciting day

So, today I thought it would be nice if I could take pictures of my nephew gabe rolling over & then I remembered that my camerea has a video feature on it. So I taped it. He actually worked on it for a bout 20 minutes or so but the video is right @ the end when he finally flipped himself over. It may seem mean but they gotta get really mad to get over that 2nd arm. What a huge obstacle for these little guys. Hopefully I can figure out how to load the footage for all to enjoy.

My kids

So, I think that my kids are the cutest & funniest ever! Sonny cracks me up every day. His new word today was "funny". He'd see something on tv that we were laughing at & say "funny" & then laugh right after. So cute. He is also in the "mine" stage. Everything is "mine". Blake was telling Aunt April a cute story about how much dad likes cookies & how he gets to eat them sometimes but I don't like him to have them all the time. He also said that we don't want him to have candy all the time. He did pretty good @ his soccer game tonight. Hope he continues to get better. The season goes through October & then it's over! I can't believe that. I can't believe that Fall is here. The tempurature sure isn't acting that way. I can't wait for the crisp air. I LOVE Fall. I love my kids too!
