Hello! (after quite some time)

Hello World!

Yes, it's been over a month since I've even touched my blog site. Well, over that period my blog statistics was wonderful. There was more than 900 unique visitors this year so far! LOL. That was random. Okay let's get to serious business. Hmm.... Over the one month or so. A lot has happened. Ahahahahah! Yes. I was down with HFMD.(if you don't what it means. better not). What's worse, I had it during the exams. Thus, the 6-day MC handed down will mean VR for papers. Which had it's fair share of advantages and disadvantages. I failed my Maths because of this and I might have done well for my Sciences and Design & Technology for my Semester 1 results. Well, that's all I could say now. Really had nothing to blog.

A basic round-up of everything

Hello World!

Once again, Hi everyone! Ahahaha! Yes it's been near 2-4 weeks since I've ever posted. Of course, a lot of things has happened in that period of time. Some, nice, some which better not be made public.

As usual, the hustle and bustle of city life plays a part in my life. Well, this 2-4 weeks, I've went through a lot of things and gained many experiences. Let's g thru it in no chronological order. Firstly I've went for a Press Conference for a newly released Malay-movie at EW Suntec(some cineplex in downtown Singapore). Thru that press conference, I've been able to gain insights into what goes into a production of a movie, why does a director does it this way and not that way and many others. I was also able to know how hard/easy it can get into questioning people in a press conference.

Next, the mosque where I do my religious studies organized a carnival in aid for some fund which think the mosque aims to raise. Overall, that event marked history as I was one of the lucky ones to be in the carnival in it's 14-year history. I think, my stall did quite well, with people streaming in to try out the Nintendo Wiis, some games which we created which includes throwing sponges at human targets(which I was one of them and got really hit real hard). Hopefully, after results are in, we could be one of the top 3 earners for the whole event.

Lastly, before I end of this post, I would like to talk about success. How it could have affected me and others whom I might know. Ever since the start of my whole Secondary 3 adventure, I've observed that sometimes the best of people are not necessarily from the best of classes. Why do I say so? I've seen some of my friends from the tail-end classes getting a mush higher mark than those in the better classes. Not saying, that I'm much superior. I've also found that I've also excelled as compared to last year. Such as I've been passing my Mathematics after 2 years of failing. Well, it's a product of "Nil Sine Labore"(Victoria School's motto which my teacher has used it to inspire me). Cos, if you don't put in effort, you won't be able to succeed. You could be the best of things, but you must have put in some form of effort to achieve it didn't you? Well, yes. Even the best in whatever it is must have worked hard in one way or another in it. Well, it worked on me. Why not it be an inspiration for you guys out there. I believe everyone has the potential to make it just more effort in and you'll see your fruits of labour. That's where I shall end my post!

Peace always

School-holiday summary

Hello World

Over the holidays, I've done many cool things some of that making my first podcast, going to Singapore Polytechnic for a very cool course and many others. Starting off with my first podcast. It wasn't a podcast actually, but was a test. So did some news spoof with GarageBand and whoa it was like a recording studio all in one box. It was great fun. LOL.

Next was a course which I went for at Singapore Polytechnic. It was a course on Autodesk inventor Professional 2009. I learnt on how to use CADs. Although it was quite grand as it seems but it was more or less torturing. 9 whole hours from morning to the late afternoons at the Western part of Singapore. But least managed to spend time with Lucas on the first day. Met up at McDonalds at 6.30a.m That sounded crazy? But yeah. the train ride was 49 minutes long and we were afraid to be late. Ahahahha. So wish both Lucas and me luck that we can win $1000 in the Racing Car design competition.

Lastly, was many other cool things, My MacBook has been a really big media powerhouse. Everything is built in and it's just a matter of point-click shoot. Other than that. Managed to keep up with my other friends it was real fun! Ahahahah! I didn't know someone really like donuts. So I'll end of this post right here.

Hello! i'm a Mac and you're a PC

]Hello World!

It's been quite some time since I've posted and a lot of things around me have basically changed. As you can see my post title. I'm now a Mac user. Ahahaha. Why make the switch? Basically I've enough of Windows XP/Vista. So that's why now I'm Leopard. Ahahahaha. Hmm.... So far, I'm contented with my Apple MacBook. It has everything I need all in one nice little 13" MacBook. I think the extra $100-200 over it's Windows counterparts are worthwhile. I guess That's it for now!

Comes With Music is coming Singapore!

Hello World!

Ahahahhahahaha. I just can't wait for Nokia's Comes With Music lands on our sunny shores of Singapore. Why? 12 months of legal, unlimited music downloads! Although it's restricted to the PC and the Nokia CWM phone. It's still a bargain. Over a million music tracks at your finger tips! But the downside is that, it's only available to certain Nseries phones, some XpressMusic phones and of course the 5800. Hmm.... Comparing it's disadvantages and advantages. I can certainly say that it's a total bargain. Now, with the HTC Dream and the 5800 launching by end February or early March. Singaporeans are spoilt for choice. Hmmm... That is if SingTel's offerings are not lacklustre. I might be getting a 5800 if it's price after subsidies are affordable enough. Ahahahha. Feel free to leave comments!
