does anyone else feel this way with opera?
im getting more and more the feeling that site problems with opera are more annoying then my tolarence level and my got-used-to-opera.
it seems to me there are still two different cases, despite what i read everywhere..

the new one is that sites intentionally block opera, no matter what masking or identification im setting.. they just sniff better and adapt to new features faster then opera would roll them out.
google for instance, many imagehosting services, basically all the 'new stuff' that someone like me would be interested in.

the old one that all the articles claim is mostly nonexistant nowadays is what i see more and more nowadays.. the good old fashion browser-specific rendering and shitting on web-standards.
deviantart released a new sitedesign, ofcourse i cant use it with opera. menu totally screwed up, basically FUBAR. live.com where i have to post a lot these days for vba scripts.. you cant post with opera because the wysiwyg messagebox just dont appear..

oh and i found a third one a few days ago. plugins are fucked up with the latest release.. flash player doesnt work, shockwave player doesnt recognize opera when installing, acrobat plugin doesnt diplay the pdf file..

im using my portable firefox 2.0b1 more and more these days, i even got extensions in it and feeds set up for it..

it all boils down to this:
i'm a huge fan of stuff that isnt recognized by the most, and appreciate how clean things can be made, how efficient they are.. hands down opera wins. but if i have to write a mail to every site owner proving that when i mask opera as mozilla it works perfectly OR i have to report a site problem every time OR i have to ask opera asa to nofity this site and that site to repair they damn homepage, im going to lose it one day.
im sure ill be god damn happy i wont have to do it anymore.

please dont make me do it
