shoehorn's brooding grounds

just a couple of hours now until i head out with the nephews for a little trick-or-treating action. i think that's become my favourite part of the day now, watching them get all dressed up. well, that and the pumpkin carving, and, umm, let's not forget about the candy. they may be little, but it's amazing how much candy they're able to collect whenever they go out. not like i'm complaining though. the more they get, the more i eat. besides, it's for their own good. three and four year-olds should not be eating so much candy in the first place. that's my justification and i'm sticking with it!

you know what i miss most about hallowe'en? the sitcoms on television. there used to be so many different sitcoms when i was younger, just 5 to 10 years ago. and every season around this time, each show would have some sort of hallowe'en special or hallowe'en related episode. i think the simpsons still does this with their treehouse of horror episodes but there really hasn't been much else as of late. television is overrun with reality series after reality series or hospital/law related dramas these days. it's just not as fun anymore.

on the bright side, you can always rent a favourite horror movie instead. so without further ado here's my list of movies to watch on hallowe'en. in no particular order.
