los lobos - cancion del mariachi. this song makes me want to just get up and dance! either that or learn the guitar so i can stuff my case full of firearms and wander from city to city in search of the man who murdered my fiancee only to discover that the man had been my brother all along.

nancy sinatra - bang bang. i just like the song.
deathcab - title and registration. there's something about the straight-forwardness of the lyrics. or maybe it's just one giant metaphor. *shrugs*
feist - 1 2 3 4. canadian indie. my sister and her friends ran into her band on canada day, asked them for a picture and one of the guys, being a bit of an ass, was reluctant, but did eventually cave in. that's my *sort of* personal anectdote with no real moral, so if you were expecting one...tough cookies! enjoy.
