in desperate need of a suit

ok not really. but still i think it's high time i hit the market for a new suit because of one, some or all of the following reasons:
i) i happen to have some disposable income on hand
ii) seems i've outgrown any and all formal wear that's been shoved into the depths of my closet.
iii) a guy's gotta have at least one good suit....right? it's a rule or something.
iv) a couple of formal and semi-formal events lingering on the horizon.
v) i just want one.
been browsing the banana republic website and there are a few that i really like. they're not toooo bad as far as prices go either. i don't know, we'll see.
