straight lines theme - building - 06/2012

As you may recall, a tree fell on our house earlier this year. Finally, the roof is being repaired. Here's a view of the back of the house with one of the workmen's ladders propped up against the house.

I really only took this photograph to get a record of how the repairs were going, but the evening light was so striking, and there were so many straight lines, that this had to go into the 'straight lines' theme.

Would be interesting to use perspective control on this shot

I think you'd lose too much, Thomas ... if one were anticipating using perspective correction, one would have backed off a bit.

I was thinking the same! But see the size 800*533 I think photo has been cropped so the original is maybe wider

Not cropped, Thomas - just resized. As der Wandersmann says, I really would lose too much if I tried to perspective correct this image. Thanks for your comments, folks.
