The zoo keeper said there originally was 4 peacock but 1 was transfered and 2 died. 1 died naturally and the second died after flying into the lion encloser where it was eaten.

I was driving through the floodplain between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers when I came to a 'Road Closed' sign. The rivers are pretty high right now. As I was turning, I saw the sun low in the sky and a long line of pylons leading from the Sioux Power Plant.

Could I get a picture of the setting sun behind these? I stopped the car and walked out along the closed road until I was I standing beneath the high voltage cables you see in the photograph.

Then I just waited.

And, as you see, I was in luck. The sun set in the middle of the view, right behind the long line of pylons silhouetted in the photograph. A very nice view and fascinating photograph.
