When a door seems closed, don't try to get trough the door. Try to get to what is behind the door. Closed doors are only a trick to keep those away who aren't unhesitant to get there.

I used a tilt-shift lens with tilt to get the unusual depth of focus. f/4.5, 45mm tilt-shift lens, 0.3 shutter speed to smooth out the water in the background.
The unusual focal plane gives these rather ordinary rocks an otherworldly appearance.
This tiny structure holds the spores for a new generation of moss. I found this growing on a log in Blackhand Gorge.
For children summer is one long holiday. I remember the summers of my childhood. They felt like they could last forever. And suddenly it was autumn again, schools started, and even longer wait for next summer started. What I remember hating most is adult starting to talk about next school year even weeks before summer holidays were over. Why people always have to worry about the future?
