The marina at Puerto Calero, on Lanzarote, in Canary Islands (Islas Canarias) is quite close to the hotel where I stayed recently. I walked down to the harbour and looked at the sailboats, yachts, motorboats, speed boats, moored there, but some of the sailboats were setting off to take part in a regatta out in the bay.
There is a boatyard to the left of this shot - off camera - full of ketches, all laid up on 'stilts'.
I love this shot. It's a two masted sailing ship. I think it's a brigantine. "Tall" sailing ships are so beautiful and someone told me this is used as a sailing-training ship.. I stayed at a hotel overlooking this bay and most mornings I went down to to the marina to llok at the boats and ships. I love the sea and so I was in my element among all the sailboats and very much so, as I stood and looked at this beautiful tall masted ship resting majestically in the harbour.
I can't end my narrative without including a quote from poet John Masefield's lovely poem.... so apt for scenes such as this one.
"I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking."
(John Masefield: June 1878 – 12 May 1967)
I was thinking how i can capture internet traffic. There is possibility to take picture ofsome router or switch, what is not bad idea
Here i catch traffic flow from my home router.
Cars cars everywhere. A bunch of cars passing the roundabout near Truro College. This is an attempt to make a "motion blur" with cars, but it is quite hard as the camera keeps the picture in focus.
With a little distance all our great works seem so vein...
I just really liked this. This is the center of private horse racetrack that's no longer used.
Be my Valentine!
A Ladybird appears in the garden in winter ! I have never seen one appear so early in the year.
The out of focus...(a yellow roses) in the house of Aster Jazz
Ahhhhh the beach
...looking from low!!
Walking walking . If I follow the bike road for a little bit then I will be able to reach the path. The path will take me over the fields and the creak and across the next field. All ending up in heavy traffic,
crossing that road I will find a new path to walk over the fields to a place I do enjoy. What I need is, coffee good shoes, sunshine, Tindra
Small cars are common in the city. They are easier to park and use less gasoline.

Fun on a rainy day
I had good light on my feet but not on my body. Adding brightness made the photo grainy. Maybe I will try again when the clouds have drifted off
I Always Want To Take A Picture Of The Augusta Maria
Contrary to the way this looks, this is another 'found' image. A woman in Forest Park standing near the World's Fair Pavilion. I'd stopped there on my way back from the History Museum because I liked the quality of the light illuminating the building. Instead, I found an interesting human subject!
