Picture uploads currently not working

Picture uploads currently not working, not even email uploads. This has been reported on MyOpera feedback forums and also on Twitter. We may have to wait till next week when MyOpera staff get back work. We keep you updated.

Members that can't upload their pictures in June can upload them when problem has been sorted smile

Is it possible to delay the June exhibition for a few days, because I have been unable to upload any of my photos this month.begging please smiley Pictures, Images and Photos

OK. I tried and managed to upload three, using the classic uploader and one photo at a time. The first two were OK. The third one managed to get uploaded at the second try. But the fourth one just would not go. I've tried 5 or 6 times, but every time it ended up "Bad gateway". sad

Will try again tomorrow morning (in about 13 hours)

yes Picture uploads should work again.

I will check email during today and Monday in case of exhibition submissions and ask Zdenko to wait till Tuesday (which would be the exhibition publishing day anyway).

Update: Currently Flash uploader seems to work for me. Classic uploader still gives error.

Thanks Thomas.. up I tried to upload to S&T yesterday because I only got back from my cruise yesterday and I wanted to show some of my pics... but the upload wasn't working... in fact yetserday nothing could be uploaded to my blog page. I had to upload to my Photobucket ac and then post the html codes from there onto my page by using that method. I'll try to upload to S&T today and see what happens.

Hi again... I tried to upload but I keep getting a message saying my image did not pass photo vaidation. First time I tried to upload as format png. Then when I got the error message I saved the photo as a jpg format but that was rejected too. So now I just used the alternative 'classical 'uploader and that seems to be working ok up

I can only recommend email upload. It is both easier, faster and more reliable smile

I'm puzzled. Thomas... Sorry I don't know what you mean by "email uploader" . There are two options to upload (as you will know) ... One has guidance instructions,
1, Select photos....
2. Upload .....
3. Add description ... that's the one I've always used but it didn't work for me today..

and the other option is called "Switch to classic uploader" .... I tried that and it worked smile and I'm going to use that again. smile

Hi John

Go to your S&T album. At top you will find:
"You can also upload by email ..."

Just send your pics to that addres, sort, add text and DONE

Hi Robert,

I was on the american cruise ship "Independence of The Seas" (Royal Caribbean Lines) ... it departed from Southampton, UK on 15 June and returned to Southampton, UK, yesterday, 30 June. The cruise went around the (mediterranean sea) Iberian peninsular and called in at the following places: Gibraltar, Barcelona (Spain), Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Alicante (Spain), Malaga (Spain), Cannes (France), Lisboa (Portugal) (Atlantic Ocean), and finally to Vigo, the northern Spain port in galicia, in the atlantic ocean area and then back to UK.
