plant, therapy, health, leafy
...
Last night, I bought a new plant for the bedroom. Its name is
Pothos. I believe the variety might be familiar to those who play Animal Crossing. Anyway, I have sort of a
brown wilted thumb when it comes to gardening and the label read, "easy to grow." It needs low light, a temperature between 62 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit as well as moderate moisture. This picture was taken to show you how
green and happy it is now. I've been taking really good care of it. I moved it into the sunlight this afternoon and then away from the window later when it got drafty. My room is kind of dim most of the time, so I have it up in the corner right now because that’s where the sunshine is still visible… oh; wait… the sun’s gone now. Well, anyway, I’ve been trying as hard as I can, even breathing nutritious carbon dioxide at it. In psychology class they taught that plants, not only clean the air, but they have therapeutic effects that hit us on sight, relaxing us, lowering our blood pressure, and all sorts of great stuff. The effects are similar to water. There is also scientific evidence that nature improves productivity in the work place and might even raise your IQ! I really want a plant in my room, but I’ve never kept a house plant alive before and I haven’t tried in years. I am not going to over water my plant this time (as has happened previously), so I really hope it lives and grows all over the place. I will take another picture in a few weeks to keep everyone up to date on its progress. Wish me luck!

Jimmy Johns, friends, Fun, Friendship
...
Today is a great day! I woke up refreshed and I'm feeling ready for anything. Monday, I finally found out where Anna's new apartment is and we got to spend all night together. We went shopping and ate veggi subs from Jimmy Johns (where, for those of you who don't know, they make the world's best sandwiches). Shopping was awesome (even though I was feeling impatient to get home)! I got a quilt for 75% off and the laptop I am typing on now. Later I showed her the wii and she beat me at baseball (who knew she had such a good pitching arm!?!) and bowling. We both sucked equally at a friendship rating jumping game. =P Although not everything went perfect, all-in-all it was great night. The next morning she had to go back to work and I was sad to see her go, but now that I know where her new apartment is, I can just drop by annoyingly whenever I want! =D There is only one problem, I have a bunch of homework to do!!! =S

Travel, Wii, Friendship, Spring Break
It is Monday, normally, I'd be trying to sleep right now, so I could wake up early and go to work. Early for me is 9:00AM. Luckily, it is Spring break at my school and since I work on campus I have the week off. This is great news because it means I can go visit my rockin' sister, bff, live and die together buddy, Anna. That is as soon as I find out her new address/work schedule. We are seperated by busy schedules, limited transportative abilities and about a two-hour drive. But our friendship will live on because, like the great sea, it is unstoppable. Meanwhile, I think I'll check my Wii to see if there're any updates.
*announcer chimes in*
Will Tori continue her blog on this site, with two other blogs already in existance?
Will she be able to make contact with her beloved friend before the end of her Spring Break?
And... Will there be any updates on Wii?
Stay tuned to find out.
