SATURDAY 2/5/09
1 my van broke down on the motorway, i was stuck there for 3 hours,
2 while waiting for rescue i sat on grass verge, but didnt look and sat on an ants nest!
TUESDAY 5/5/09
1 had to hire lorry to replace my van but when i got there to pick it up the lorry wouldnt start, t l s hire had to jump start it.
2 i finally got back to our yard and as i got there the transporter turned up to collect my broken van, i had to steer it onto the transporter then 5 mins after he had gone i went to move the lorry so i could load it up, but i had lost the key for it (have you guessed where they were?) i had put the lorry keys down on the seat of my van, which was now halfway to the garage!!! so i had to use one of our small vans to follow my broken van to the garage to get the keys for the lorry????
3 after finally loading and driving to deliver the load i paid 2.20 for a cup of coffee, then without even having a sip i spilt all of it on the floor of the lorry.
THURSDAY 7/5/09
lorry wouldnt start again, had to wait for t l s to come and jump start it again, i lost another 3 hours.
FRIDAY 8/5/09
1 got home from work, turned my bathroom light on only for it to blow my trip switches, after resetting them i found what caused it, the flat above mine had a leaky bath and all his water was coming through my light socket.
this isnt bad compared to what some people have to go through, but for me it was a week from hell. if it could go wrong, it did go wrong.

i would really enjoy reading similar stories, because looking back now some of it was very funny. there was 1000 different places i could have sat on that grass verge, but i chose to sit in the exact spot where the ants nest was. and following my van just for a set of keys was funny.
