Hello all,
In that threat,http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=1444512, a few Opera users are annoying a facebook bug. When an user is scrolling chat window, content of the chat window slides over normal web content and both content are mixing. Here is a sample screenshot. You can find more screenshot in that threat. http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/250670_3845454186784_742224641_n.jpg
Could you give any information about when it will be fixed?

No, I wasn't aware until this morning.

I have reported the problem with facebook to facebook and today to opera DSK-368429 (with screenshots). i tested with my 11.64 and it had the same issue so i think that the problem might be with facebook. I haven't heard back from them.

It is a bug in Opera with fixed position elements siblings to absolutely positioned elements - in certain cases this causes overflow clipping to fail.

It was reported on a different (much smaller) site earlier this year, and actually fixed in Core last week. And now Facebook found it too p

But I have found a workaround and will add it to browser.js

yikes up Could make it for 12.01?

Ola P. Kleivenolak Tuesday, June 26, 2012 9:16:45 AM

Not the Core fix I'm afraid, not really compatible code (12.01 is 2.10.289, while Core is at at 2.11.355) as the fix was part of a bigger performance improvement.

up I'll wait for the browser.js, Thanks smile

I tested after seeing it a few times in the desktop team, and confirmed it in 12.00
