yes, I realized that about a year ago I think around the time you added me, but thanks anyway. How did you change the location to Bugtussle anyway? Was it difficult? I want to change mine to Neptune. True story that.

I will try to find the instructions I followed when I get back home later on today.

It's easy. You can do it in about 2 minutes.

Off the top of my head:

You need to use Opera browser for this one.

Go to the page where you are editing your profile.

On the top bar of the browser, select "view", then "source".

Use the find feature to locate the list of countries. The first one is Afghanistan, might as well get your cursor there.

Copy the html sample of that country, or any country, but change the country name to anything you want. I think I remember 2 fields you have to change.

Click "apply changes" at the top of the source window.

Go back to your "edit profile" page and select the dropdown box of countries. The place you created should now be there, and earlier if you put if just before Afghanistan, it should be the first one.

Save your profile changes!

Later, if you make any changes to your profile, it kicks out the place you created, so you have to redo it every time you fiddle with your profile.

All this is from memory, so I hope it's right.

I changed Afghanistan to Neptune in both places, then copied that code from angle bracket to angle bracket and went up and changed it thusly

" <select name="" id="">" without quotes of course.

I then saw it in the select menu, so I selected and saved, but when I go back to the profile it still shows USA. The code I copied and pasted here is much longer but it activates so it shows the shortened version here. Must be the cold swimming pool effect.

Try to find that country list and paste the first line above before those Afghan rebels.

That, I think, will make your cool choice the first one on the country dropdown box.

Was pleased to be able to help some. Neptune is one of my favorites, so it was important that you got there OK.

Neptune looks nice so far out there. Uranus is also a good one. I like it better when pronounced as URINE-us rather than your-ANUS. Pluto is just too far away, and its status sometimes gets called into question anyway.

I would've preferred Uranus if it wasn't for the name. Neptune is filled with super-cooled fart gas so there's some mighty big cows wandering somewhere around there.
