still trapped here in hotel but the wifi is good

, , , , , , ,

I have been lamenting my hotel entrapment on the blog for three days now (posts here, here, and here). Today I went on another walking tour to take pictures. I did take the pictures to accentuate the abandoned look of the nearby shopping centers, but it wasn't much of a stretch.

:eyes: Man you are stuck in a ghost town.
Atleast you've got wifi and your netbook.
BTW why did the state shut down cash a check businesses?

Ooops! It was payday lenders that the state put out of business. I edited out the reference to check cashing businesses above. The payday lenders were shut down by the attorney general for continually circumventing state laws on usury.

Yep. Positive.

Its a ghost town.

All it needed was a few tumbleweeds.

Agreed, seems like you're in a ghost town. Wouldn't want to be hanging around there at night.

At least they have Vietnamese Pho.

I wonder if any people put money in the bank drop box thinking they're making a deposit or actually giving it to the church. There are sometimes confused people walking around.

I could go for some pho right now! Phở.

I imagine the night drop was locked. I didn't tug on it to see.
