Singing in church can be really tiring for me. I am constantly evaluating what I seems be professing through the songs I was singing along to.
The object of all these songs is 'I'. I depend on Christ completely and 'I' live as if Christ is the no. 1 in my life.
Sure or not?!!
Please la! How often do we ask God first before we make decisions at work or in school?
As I sing, I was caught up with the meaning and bearings of the lyrics. The music and catchy tempo was at background and fade slowly to my wrestling of my faith. At times rather painful.
Times like this I enjoyed music at Gwen Stephanie concert and too loud to hear anything clearly club. I also like music that you can't really know the meaning like hip hop and Jay Chow's singing.
I don't need to be honest and truthful, I can just get lost in the tempo and fantasy.
