My husband and I have recently made some new friends at our local pub. They are a really diverse and neat bunch of people. Yesterday they sponsored a Toys for Tots drive at a VFW hall and collected a mountain of toys for the kids and all the proceeds went to the USO. It was a great time with a great bunch of people and we were glad to be a part of it.

I know that its been a long time since I've posted anything, but tonight I was sitting on the couch watching one of my favorite television shows, Fringe, and my husband was out for the evening. I was on the edge of the couch with my littler dog (65 lbs) laying with his head in my lap, and the bigger dog was sprawled out at the end of the couch sleeping and it occurred to me what a great family life I have. I have a husband that loves me, a house that's better than what I had hoped for and pets that love me with all they have and don't ask for much in return...It doesn't get much better than this. I am happy.
