Like A Teapot

"Enlightened or not, it is all the very same. Have a cup of tea! "

Shout, shout, shout

, ,

Currently, this is one of the great albums for me to help release the emotions caused by the stupidity in the mass media regarding China, Tibet, and the 2008 Olympics.

I know the cover is a bit scary and may, unfortunately, cause the album to be under-estimated. But it is really wonderful music. If you like real classic solid rock of the '80s, you would love what this band of New England has churned out. This is their second album since 2006 when they released their first one. They are no new kids in the musical scene although the band is fairly new.

I very much enjoy it. Its opening track "Eye" is almost as exciting as "The Final Countdown" or "California Dreamin'". It really helps release frustration and makes you want to shout along even if you are quite happy.

So much to say, so little energyWas I any good at it

Considering your heritage there's a blog post here just itching to be written...I'm sure lots of people, myself included among them, would be interested to hear your thoughts on the topic.

Yep. I'm curious about your thoughts and perspective on the "Olympic thing," too.

I've never heard of Witch, but I just read a review (that compliments yours) that makes me think I need to seek them out. Thank you!

Just found this one after reading this post, will give it a listen after my visit to the speech correctionist. I too am curious on your stand and point of view regarding the Olympics in China and Tibet. There is already someone who made a little entry about the occupation and violence in Tibet here. Well that's it, I'm off to the SC.

Politics and Sport should never be mixed. Unfortunately that is rarely the case anymore.

Sport is politics. Look at Maurice Green, and the allegations that have been plaguing him for years (now, apparently, unfounded).

Just add my own voice to those here saying they would be interested to hear your perspective, but wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to write anything. I wrote something on my own blog, after resisting the urge to do so for a while, since I'm always aware that I don't hold all the information. Even what I did write, I limited to a comment on the Chinese media/officialdom in terms of international relations.
