Like A Teapot

"Enlightened or not, it is all the very same. Have a cup of tea! "

Odd hours, man!

,

If I remember it correct, CBC will broadcast the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, which for me is an hour from now. I am dead tired but will manage to have a peek.

I hope my friends everywhere will not miss this exciting event.

Sad thing though, I missed the opening as I was in the airport to catch a flight to India. Bet it must have been colorful.

I just found the coolest beer in the world.

Cool Beer

I put it in my freezer a while ago and completely forgot about it. Homer: Doh!

With a lot of luck the bottle is still intact.

solid copper 9. August 2008, 09:49

Haha. Good taste.

Torkel Freed 9. August 2008, 16:24

 Nice picture, I've done the same mistake a couple ot times

daxonmacs 9. August 2008, 16:56

 I drank it but the freezer killed the taste. :frown: It was the last I had in the house too.

Torkel Freed 10. August 2008, 10:23

That's bad planning :wink::cheers:
Swedens first medal in the olympics today,
silver in womens bicycle, the finish in the beautiful Badaling-area.

daxonmacs 10. August 2008, 12:47

Congrats Torkel!
I'm afraid Belgium won't bring home much medals.
I still have some cans of Carlsberg though.

Torkel Freed 11. August 2008, 03:23

Thanks. This was not one of the "planned" medals. Some years ago the Swedish OC set up the goal 20 medals in Beijing. The have made a revision nad say that the goal now is 8 medals. Carlsberg is good, we celebrated with Swedish Spendrups beer last night. I enjoied the basketgame between China and US last afternoon too
