Like A Teapot

"Enlightened or not, it is all the very same. Have a cup of tea! "

It's a wonderful world

, ,

The romantic old fart who hit on me
The lonely housewife who winks at my baby
They cross path on the Internet
And weave themselves a spider's web
He put forth other men's poetry
She marvels at his sense and sensitivity
Save us a lot of trouble
How wonderful

I wonderGot a new slow cooker

Nice poem solid.
Old farts often hang around lonely old housewives. :D

The internet is full of depressed people with depressing stories who do depressing things together. The sordid dance is rarely so artfully reflected in poetry, I think.

Thanks for the comment, Matt. Your words capture this peculiar world very well.

Opera has a good deal of sunshine, compared to a lot of places I've been online. It's nice.

Actually, shit happens everywhere.

Matthew 20. December 2008, 19:06

Oh yeah. Depressed people just tend to spend more time in their rooms. That gives them more time to spend online

I haven't been to many other places but I don't think one online community is better than another. This one is just more international, perhaps.

Matthew 20. December 2008, 20:04

I think there are definite differences in communities, and the types of people you'll find there. MyOpera is, on the whole, a much more mature place than many others.
