New existence

I am happy that my troublesome sleep patten is reversed. I am now getting up early and feeling real good. I hope that it will last.
Today I woke up to a gorgeous sunny day, the second one in a week. It is going to be hot in the car like yesterday, so I am wearing a light, airy short-sleeves and one of my new shorts. I made the mistake of wearing a long-sleeves yesterday and boy was it hot in my friend's car. I felt ill on my way home.
I took a silly on-line psychic test earlier while browsing in bed. It says that my resolutions for next year should be "save money and take a trip". I am going to do just that, in the remaining months of the year.
I need a new passport. It is due to procrastination that I did not submit an application earlier in the year - in order to avoid the predictable long queue that usually emerges in spring when everyone is preparing documentation for summer travel. As it turns out, I am lucky as a result of my tardiness. As reported in this week's news, a chunk of Canada Post mails containing passport applications were stolen while on route to a federal processing facility. Two problems resulted or may result for the unlucky folks: no passports for planned travel and identity theft. I am just glad that I am not plagued by such major headaches.

Travel sounds fun. Do you have a destination in mind?
Congratulations on a successful procrastination. As if it is not already its own reward!

As usual, and typical of me, I have a whole bunch of travel destinations in mind. Some don't require a passport; some do. And yes, I think you are right about exercise.

It really bugs me that we now need passports to go between our two countries. Anyone with evil intent isn't going to cross at a port of entry, anyway. Maybe they should teach the bears and moose to ask for passports.
