Cool shot, it looks like you're at the center of things

what about try another position?

Steven 1. June 2009, 12:36

Ooh, this is coincidental, last week Sunday I took a photograph of my reflection on water - quite a ghosty/alien feeling :spock:

daxonmacs 1. June 2009, 13:22

The shape reminds me a bit of a mermaid

Bea 1. June 2009, 13:27

 I would say that!!

I agree that you look weird, Steven. Too much sushi in that stomach, eh?

Steven 2. June 2009, 07:32

Mermaids, eh... Fact is I took the picture near Kopenhagen p:

Solid seems to have angel wings in the second photograph

Kopenhagen, that's a great place for a Carlsberg moment!

We all know solid is an angel Steven.

København has already got a mermaid.

SC ... you got a MUCH sharper shadow than I did ... it must have had something to do with the clarity of the air, since the pavements in my shot and in your shot look equally sharp.

Yes, it was a hot day when I took the picture. I got severe sunburn that day, in fact.

That angel wing of mine is a handbag. :D

der Wandersmann 4. June 2009, 14:47

StevenV ... I just noticed that you were even able to capture the ripple-marks in the sand of the bottom. That water looks really clean.

SC ... watch that sun exposure, it can be dangerous, even for those who are not Celts. I turn lobster-red in moments; you have a little more protection, but your folk weren't evolved to take an awful lot of sun, either.

Nasty stuff, sunlight.

Your pic looks like one that would be fun to play with via photo editing software. I generally don't modify my pictures much but some seem to lend themselves to being creative with special effects offered in the software.
