Like A Teapot

"Enlightened or not, it is all the very same. Have a cup of tea! "

Early nightfall

For days, I failed at my attempt to take a walk in the city's outskirt before sunset. By the time I got out, night had fallen and the only thing interesting was the sky. But I was invariably in the car when I could have a clear view of it. Yesterday at a parking lot I saw what the Chinese call a "fish scales sky".

The Superstore in the first picture is a great Canadian chain that beats the American chains Safeway and SaveOn in prices and variety. Its own brand is good, too. The flags on rooftop are the national and provincial flags. The Japanese restaurant in the second picture is the one I went to and blogged about earlier.

Isn't the sky something? I'm not sure what we call such sky here but fish scale sure makes sense.
Lovely pictures.
Also of the Japanese restaurant.
So that Canadian store is better, eh?

Yes, but its locations are far and apart, unlike the American chains stores that are everywhere. The American chain Safeway has the best service though.

But Superstore has the sharpest prices, right?
Those pictures are clearly looking better on big screen.
Save a seat at Akari's!
We can work out in the next building after dinner

That sky is also called a "mackerel sky". Interesting difference, and interesting similarity.

Thank you, Robert and Torkel.

Great atmosphere in these photos.
It's a bit scary, though, that we have so many of the same shops and shopping centres all over the world.

Yes, it is.

Glad you resurfaced, Dutch Australian. :D

Wow. I love the amazing dispersed cloud patterns and the marvellous colors of the sky.

Glad you like it, friend.

It does look like fish scales.
Oh how I miss Canadian prices, haha
