Like A Teapot

Dinner at a Thai restaurant

,

I had dinner at a Thai restaurant tonight. It situates near the driving entrance to a very common and busy ground level shopping plaza, in between an old fashioned fish and chip joint and a major American chain grocery store.

I have always wanted to check it out, as I like Thai food very much and it is the only Thai place around. But it looks dark and sinister from outside. It seems tiny, too.

I do not visit the shopping plaza often, as parking is crazy there and I do not like the brand of milk sold at the grocery store. But every time I did stop by, I stepped out of my car resolved to check out that dark place some day.

It actually has a bright yellow sign up across the large dark glass front wall, telling the world that Thai cuisine is served inside. Since yellow is in the family of my favourite colours, it catches my attention from afar. Well, it brightens my mood and, combined with the mysterious dark exterior, stimulates my taste bud as well as curiosity. It beckons me.

Thai food is one of my favorites, too. It is the thing I miss second most about the Northwest US.

The only thing I hate about Thai food is the horrible red-ish concoction they come up with. It just tastes weired. :ko:

I tried it at 'bout 3 different places, one was a Thai food fest.... and yet my opinion remains steadfast...

I know what you mean. I also find it a bit weird after experiencing the various delicious Indian curry sauces used for meat dishes.

Watching tv news on Mumbi terrorist attack by the way.
