Like A Teapot

"Enlightened or not, it is all the very same. Have a cup of tea! "

Feeling like a rabbit

I just had a hearty meal cooked by myself. Chicken wings with potato and carrot in green Thai curry. Carrots are not normally seen in this curry dish, but I wanted some Vitamin A. So I bought some carrots and threw one in at a later stage of cooking (cut to pieces of course).

While I was munching the still crunchy carrot pieces and imagining the benefit, I felt like a rabbit.

I've had carrots in Thai curry, I think. Not in any other curry, that i can remember. I've been wanting to make green curry for about a week. I think you might have pushed me over the top. Thanks! Green curry may be my favorite after pizza and certain Mexican foods.

Yes, you may have carrots in Thai curry, but usually not in a dish with potato. They usually appear in red (or yellow as well) Thai curry that is for seafood.

Yes, every now and then I crave for this flavour.

I've only had Thai curry with tofu, never seafood. I may put shrimp in when i make it, though. :D My mouth is watering.

Try prawn/shrimp, scallops, etc. with pieces of veges in red Thai curry. Yellow curry (mildest) for just veges, red curry (hottest) for seafood, green curry for meat.

I like Indian yellow curry, but I've never tried Thai. Sadly, I love the green so much, I don't often stray.

Yeah. I've had some excellent Indian curry. Particularly when my brother-in-law's mother comes to the US. Mmmmmmmm! I've never had it with meat - it's not just that I don't eat the hairy meats, but that so many of their curries (and other dishes) are completely vegetarian.

You don't have to watch the whole thing; the fun starts about 45 second into the show.

*phew*

Glad to be of service. Most of the Bugs Bunny cartoons predate me by 30 years. I'm just glad they are still available - they don't make cartoons like they used to!
