Nice quote, it should hang in every procastinator's room.

solid copper 22. September 2008, 10:47

Yeah, even Ehsan washed his sheets today. :D

daxonmacs 22. September 2008, 10:58

The end of a ( musky ) era.

noah counte 22. September 2008, 13:14

I need to ponder this one for a while...

b_laudanum 22. September 2008, 13:27

and I'm always letting things for tomorrow... :frown:

noah counte 22. September 2008, 13:42

Me too, Bea! Maybe that's why our plans are perfect :D

solid copper 22. September 2008, 13:59

First borns who are not the only child in the family tend to grow up to be a perfectionist and a procrastinator. The youngest ones who procrastinate are usually just lazy.

b_laudanum 22. September 2008, 14:03

thank you Noah!! you make my day!! :D

b_laudanum 22. September 2008, 14:04

I'm the youngest of 4... and I'm too lazy :left:

noah counte 22. September 2008, 14:26

I'm the oldest of three. My younger brother is the most industrious, by far. Our younger sister is the least. I think.

1bluebox 23. September 2008, 07:19

while general patton may have had a more important role in 'life' than i do, today i plan to be no more than the best i was yesturday. tomorrow i have to plan for today, maybe.

solid copper 23. September 2008, 07:35

I think this quote makes most sense to procrastinators who deep down are also perfectionists although they may not immeditely recognize their tendencies and the connection.

noah counte 23. September 2008, 13:14

We procastinating perfectionists are a conflicted lot.

b_laudanum 23. September 2008, 13:17

I'm a lazy perfectionist

noah counte 23. September 2008, 13:22

I'm perfecting laziness.

wickedlizard 23. September 2008, 18:03

I am pretty lazy myself... I love work, I could watch it all day...

daxonmacs 23. September 2008, 18:04

 passive activity eh?

solid copper 23. September 2008, 18:08

We are all lazy around here, except 1bluebox who need to build up capital.

daxonmacs 23. September 2008, 18:16

We all need to, tomorrow. :D

b_laudanum 23. September 2008, 18:18

1bluebox 23. September 2008, 18:29

oh i am a lazy lot myself, i just work like a dog to pay most of my bills  -- besides there is an art in being efficiently lazy. i like that comment isabel, "I love work, I could watch it all day..."

wickedlizard 23. September 2008, 20:56

:D yep...

noah counte 24. September 2008, 01:08

Hahah. Let me know when you get started, I'll pull up a chair, sip a on a tall glass of lemonade, and cheer you on!

1bluebox 24. September 2008, 06:16

funny matt! you are going to watch me watch isabel watch work all day . . . . and solid thinks we're all crazy, because (opps, forgot what i was writing about!)

wickedlizard 24. September 2008, 10:14

 come on and pull up a lounge chair... here´s plenty of lemonade to go around. ooh... don´t forget your sunglasses - so you can catch some snooze time and no one notices....

daxonmacs 24. September 2008, 10:23

Come, bring, catch, sounds like quite an active day.

solid copper 24. September 2008, 10:55

Indeed, quite a flurry of activities. I mean who is going to make the lemonade and move chairs? All this time I was dreaming dreams in my bed.

wickedlizard 24. September 2008, 11:40

fanning herself... I am exhausted from all that activity...

noah counte 24. September 2008, 12:53

Haha. Deborah, if I watch Isabel directly, it's too much like actually working - it wears me out! If I watch you watch her work, I'm in the work derivatives market, which was, until last week, a much safer place for me to be.

wickedlizard 24. September 2008, 13:31

i hurts to breathe... p:

noah counte 24. September 2008, 13:55

Hmmm... That can't be good, and the remedy is terrible!

wickedlizard 24. September 2008, 14:43

:left: what´s the remedy?

daxonmacs 24. September 2008, 14:52

To stop breathing entirely, I assume.

noah counte 24. September 2008, 15:50

Yeah. Less painful, but only a temporary solution.

daxonmacs 24. September 2008, 18:54

With a permanent state as consequence

noah counte 24. September 2008, 19:18

A juxtaposition of competing states that are irrevocably intertwined.

daxonmacs 24. September 2008, 19:58

Think three and flower Matt :D

noah counte 24. September 2008, 20:22

I just need to take some deep breathes.

wickedlizard 24. September 2008, 21:46

:sst: i am getting blue in the face...

noah counte 24. September 2008, 23:41

Uh oh. I think you need to do that self-heimlich manuevre - you know, over the back of a chair. Breathe! BREATHE!

1bluebox 25. September 2008, 06:09

  :insane:

solid copper 25. September 2008, 06:19

Who holds the lemonade for her?

wickedlizard 25. September 2008, 12:58

:D i got one of those incredibly long curvy straws.... i just suck! :jester:

solid copper 25. September 2008, 13:34

He told you to breathe!!! No sucking!!!

noah counte 25. September 2008, 16:07

No, no no! I'll not have your asphixiation on my hands! Breathe, sucker, BREATHE!

wickedlizard 25. September 2008, 17:12
