Queremos paz... corrente pela vida

A paz será realidade quando:
o egoísmo der lugar à solidariedade
a tristeza abrir passagem para a alegria
o ódio deixar que o amor se instale
a solidão bater asas e voar pra eternidade.

Queremos ver de malas prontas
toda insegurança,
qualquer espécie de vingança,
exclusão e violência
serão palavras trocadas
pela mais leve esperança.

Vamos trazer de volta o amor,
a união, a bondade,
e o que dizer da amizade
de mãos dadas com a lealdade?

Queremos a humanidade
liberdade, fraternidade,
compartilhar a verdade.

Queremos um novo dicionário
com algumas palavras banidas.
Um dicionário com vida.

Otimismo de poeta?
Precisamos multiplicar sonhos
Somar os nossos desejos
Dividir as esperanças
Diminuir nosso medo
Vamos fazer da poesia
Uma gigantesca corrente
Com uma missão definida
Contagiando pra vida
E para a paz garantida.
