Why is Opera chosen and not Firefox?

Opera is faster than Firefox.

Opera invented "Tabbed Browsing" 13 years ago back in 1994.
Opera passes the Acid2 Browser Test in Windows, Firefox does not.
Opera's setup installer is smaller than Firefox but Opera has more functionality.
