Subject - Art Deco
I have always been inspired by the elegance, the bold geometric forms and sweeping curves of the Art Deco style.
From ashtrays to architecture they have all been re-imagined in this retro future style.
A wide open subject I know, but the challenge is to see if you can build something in this style.
Time Limit - 60 minutes

Deadline - Wednesday 15 July 2200 GMT

A Table based on a photo of one of Joseph Urban's designs.

About 30 min modeling. mostly rounding edges.
The lamp is not part of the challenge. Built last year sometime.

I'm pretty sure that we are all familiar with what art is and what it takes to create it. Well, that is this week's subject matter, tools of the artist. Anything used to create art is fair game

Brainstorm session: Pencil, paint brush, chisel, charcoal, printmaking tools, wacom tablet, camera, video camera, T-square, and the list goes on...
