I use a fujifilm finepix s5600.

It has been around since 2005, so there is no doubt better or at least cheaper around now.
I have been keeping an eye on the Fujifilm S100FS
which while certainly not cheaper, is better

Getting to grips with the manual controls of your camera is really the main thing though.
Shutter speed and aperture settings, the numbers of which can be counter intuitive.
On my current camera the shutter speed goes from 2000 to 15.
the 2000 is actually the smaller number as it is 1/2000 of a second and the 15 is 15 seconds.
The slower the shutter speed the more light gets in to your photo, and the more likely that camera shake creeps in too.
Slow speeds are good for things like night shots or when you want to have motion blur ( those shots where you see the trail left by headlights on cars for example) helps to use a tripod for them.
I wont go into aperture setting now for fear I may be telling you stuff that you already know.
I went on a bit but feel free to ask if you are interested
A camera with manual controls and good optical zoom (dont bother with digital zoom) is all I need in a camera.

If you will accept positive healings, I will send you some Reiki energy.
It only works if accepted, though; some people seem to think they deserve pain, and then it doesn't even work if accepted. Sometimes it heals something else, that you wouldn't even have realized needed healing.

Sorry i missed your comment earlier.
I`m afraid that Reiki is one among many treatments that had no benefit for me. But thanks for your offer anyway
