The View From My Bowl

A short while ago our cat Kip brought this in to the flat, ran to the bed room and let it escape. where it then flew under the bed, a gap of about 1 1/2 inches.
We got Kip out of the room. The next few minutes were like something from a marks brothers film. Between the bird flying into peoples foreheads and repeated trips back under the bed. It finally landed in my shoe. Got it to the window and it flew off seconds after I took the photo (the bird not the shoe).
Kip was VERY vocal about our carelessness in letting her present escape so easily. However in weather like this even she cant keep a grudge for long.
