Well Galway is mostly cut off from the rest of Ireland tonight, nearly every road around the outskirts seem to be flooded. With more heavy rain forecast for the next couple of days, we will soon be an island on this island. Glub Glub Glub.

The beautiful strand at Dog Bay. It is about a mile long and so peaceful, backed by large grass covered dunes that seemed full of cows and rabbits and behind them is another fine beach on Gurteen Bay.
