Kip as beautiful and elegant as ever

And Dexter the wild ball of fur whose only sense of grace is a lack of it.

Things have gotten kind of chaotic around here with the new guy. He has speed that would make a race-car driver jealous, just a blur of gray flashing by. He has been out stalking the rams in the field behind the house.
Luckily he does seem to have some respect for Kip, he will chase after her but she can bring him to a halt with a quick bat of the paw.

Fog & Felines

A sudden fog from the bogland across the road.

This is Dexter or Dex, he showed up last week meowing on our bathroom window around 11 o`clock at night and proceeded to make him self very much at home.

Kip is not too impressed with the new arrival but she is starting to get used to him.

In the meantime there has been great progress on the house, only minor things to finish off. Much of it wont be until the new year I would guess.

Where oh where

Its been a rough few weeks lately. The leg has been giving me hell and I have not been getting much of anything done.

So a picture of kip seems necessary smile

And where would I be without the sea

This year I decided to try growing some veg, so far I have -
tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, chili peppers (a couple of varieties). sugar snap peas, carrots, parsley, chives, garlic chives, coriander, oregano, spring onions, a few varieties of lettuce and some strawberries.
So far everything has sprouted apart for the carrots but I don't expect them for a couple of weeks yet.
I am doing the majority of them in pots, with my bad leg it is rather difficult to dig the back garden.

(note to myself, take some photos of your plants)

Kip is rather enjoying the time I am outside with her in the garden though.

A bit more work on the Lightwave ship. rebuilding the sails and some texturing still ongoing.

At a little pier on the edge of the Atlantic we were carjacked by this little cat, she leaped right through the open window and had a good root around looking for a bite to eat. All that was to be found was some spicy coated peanuts, still she munched through a good half dozen or so.

And a photo, because the urge to have something finished in the post is compelling.
Kip is off to the vet for a procedure in a couple of days and I find myself very distracted. Its not too serious but still there is the nagging doubt in the back of my mind.cat
