Well Galway is mostly cut off from the rest of Ireland tonight, nearly every road around the outskirts seem to be flooded. With more heavy rain forecast for the next couple of days, we will soon be an island on this island. Glub Glub Glub.

It is nice to look back on some of the warmer times of the year.
Because its damned awful out there these days - My own personal bane the electrical storm tearing around the sky last night with rain that would sink the ark and the wind ripping at the roof like a starving dog.

Looking across the bay from Oranmore in to Galway docks
Centered is Galway Cathedral and to its left is the spire of St Nicholas church, all nearly lost behind the mass of oil tanks around the docks.
