Thoor Ballylee a 16th-century castellated tower house near Gort, County Galway, Republic of Ireland. It was owned by the poet W B Yeats from 1915 and was his matrimonial home from 1917. The Yeats had extensive alterations made to the building, which is now a museum containing Yeats memorabilia
