About meBorn in the summer of '79, I grew up in Oslo Norway until '93. Moving with my family, I lived in Basel Switzerland for 5 years finishing my IBs at the International School of Basel. I then returned to Oslo in '98 to continue my education at the University of Oslo, aiming for a degree in Inforamtion Technology. After finishing my bachelors I decided it was time to make some loot, and ended up at Opera Software :)
I've always been a social creature and I find both family and friends neccessities to a meaningful existence. Music has a place close to my heart. Having listened to and played music almost all my life, I could not imagine living without it!
My workI started my work in Opera Software in Quality Assurance, more specifically as a Test Manager on the Sybmian team. This gave me great insight into both the product, the people and the procedures and I even went on a few nice business trips - one to Symbian's main offices in London and another to Motorla's office in Tokyo. After about a year and a half and a few deliveries later, I made the move into development - staying on the Symbian team. I then went on to work on deveopling the browser for the Wii, or as they call it the "Internet Channel" which was immensely rewarding for a Nintendo old timer like myself.
The next challenge for me came in the form of a new job with Aspiro, learning new technologies and products, and deveoping systems and internet applications such as Telenor's online/mobile music store, and Platekompaniet's store along with the streaming music service Wimp. As a music lover but also a musician this has been a very enriching and interresting project.
Currently I am employed as a senior developer with Hospital IT, where we create modern IT based solutions for the health sector.

Why I choose the Opera browser
Because in my opinion it is the best browser out there. Not only has it been around for ages continuously improving on itself, it has also been extremely innovative (where do you think things like tabbed browsing, small screen rendering and mouse gestures comes from?) while staying true to the original ideals of speed, security and simplicity.
